The Cisco compatible QSFP28 100G-SWDM4 Optics is specifically designed for 100G Ethernet multimode links within data centers and enterprise campuses.

Featuring a VCSEL transmitter and a PIN receiver, and operating center wavelengths are 850nm/880nm/910nm/940nm; WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology is employed to multiplex these channels into a single 100G multimode signal, which is transmitted via a Duplex LC interface.

It supports DDM/DOM (Digital Optical Monitoring).

The primary function of the 100G-SWDM4 Optics is similar to that of the 100G-SRBD:

It is a multimode Optics featuring a Duplex LC interface.

When upgrading 10G or 25G multimode links to a 100G links, no recabling is necessary, thereby achieving significant savings in both time and labor costs.
